The Ware County Varsity Girls Soccer team turned in one of their most impressive performances of the season, defeating the Phoenix by a decisive 9 - 0 score.
From the opening whistle, the Lady Gators controlled possession and dictated the pace of play. Ware County’s offensive attack proved overwhelming for New Hampstead as the Gators consistently created scoring opportunities and finished throughout the match.
Goals for the Lady Gators came from Lexi Burse (2), Desyir Zahner (2), Natalie Scheuing (2), Isabella Sweat (1), Marlee Livingston (1), and Layla Evans (1). The balanced scoring effort highlighted the depth of the Ware County attack.
