The Ware County Lady Gators Golf Team traveled to Douglas on Monday, March 2, 2026, to compete in the Lady Trojan Invitational, delivering a strong showing against a competitive 13-team field.
The Lady Gators finished 6th overall, continuing to demonstrate steady improvement and depth as the season progresses.
Leading the way for Ware County was Annslee Kate Grantham, who shot an 89 to pace the team. Eevy Griffin and Lillie Livingston each posted solid rounds of 92, providing key scores in the team standings. Kate Thomas added a 97, while Lily Peters contributed a 98 to round out the lineup.
With the top three scores counting toward the team total, Ware County finished the day with a 273 team score.
Competing in a large invitational field gave the Lady Gators valuable experience as they continue to build momentum heading deeper into the spring schedule.
