The Ware County Gator Varsity Tennis teams hit the road Thursday, February 26, 2026, traveling to Savannah for a pair of challenging contests against strong coastal opponents.
The Varsity Lady Gators faced St. Vincent’s in a tightly contested match that came down to the final sets. Despite a determined effort throughout the lineup, Ware County narrowly fell 2–3. The Lady Gators picked up individual victories from Bailey Denton and Paislee Wildes, whose wins kept the match competitive and showcased the team’s resilience.
On the boys’ side, the Varsity Gators squared off with Benedictine in region play. The Cadets capitalized on key moments across singles and doubles action, handing Ware County a 0–5 setback.
