The Ware County Lady Gators Golf Team delivered another strong performance on Thursday, February 26, 2026, traveling to Valdosta’s Kinderlou Country Club to face the Lowndes County Vikings. Behind a balanced lineup and steady play throughout the round, the Lady Gators secured a convincing 129 - 146 victory over the hosts.
Ware County’s depth proved to be the difference on the afternoon, with multiple golfers posting solid scores on the challenging Kinderlou layout.
Leading the way was Eevy Griffin, who paced the Lady Gators with a team-low round of 40. Close behind were Lillie Livingston with a 44 and Annslee Kate Grantham with a 45, helping establish early momentum for Ware County. Kate Thomas contributed a 46, while Lily Peters rounded out the scoring with a 48 to complete the team effort.
The win highlights the continued growth and consistency of the Lady Gators as they move deeper into the season, showing the ability to compete effectively on the road against quality competition.
