The Ware County Gators Tennis Teams delivered a dominant performance Tuesday, February 17, 2026, traveling to Valdosta for a doubleheader against Lanier County and Valdosta High. Both the Lady Gators and Gator Boys came away with impressive victories.


Lady Gators Earn Two Big Wins

The Ware County girls tennis team continued its strong early-season form, defeating Lanier County 5-0 and Valdosta High 4-1 to improve to 4-2 on the season.

Match 1: Ware County 5, Lanier County 0

The Lady Gators dominated from start to finish, sweeping all five courts in straight sets.

  • Kayleigh LeMay / Gracie Vickers

The second matchup proved more competitive, but Ware County once again controlled key moments.

Gator Boys Sweep the Doubleheader

The Ware County boys tennis team also improved to 4-2 on the season, completing a doubleheader sweep with victories over Lanier County and Valdosta.


Match 1: Ware County 5, Lanier County 0

The Gators earned a clean sweep against the Bulldogs.
