The Ware County Boys Golf Team competed in the Camden Classic on Saturday at St. Marys Osprey Golf Club, turning in a team score of 344 against a competitive field.
Leading the way for the Gators was Asher Dean, who fired an impressive 71 to finish 2nd overall in the tournament. Dean’s steady play and strong finish highlighted the day for Ware County and kept the Gators in contention throughout the round.
Brody Martin and Kolby King each posted a 92, while Jackson Ray added an 89. Lucas Tuten carded a 94, and Will Peters rounded out the scoring with a 103.
The Camden Classic provided another valuable early-season test for the Gators as they continue building consistency and sharpening their games heading deeper into the 2026 season.
