Lady Gators Rally for Penalty Kick Victory

The Lady Gators showed tremendous resilience, battling back from a 0–2 deficit to defeat Long County in dramatic fashion.

After falling behind early, Ware County regrouped and responded with two key goals to even the match at 2–2 by the end of regulation. With neither side able to break the tie in extra time, the contest was decided by penalty kicks.

Freshman Marlee Livingston stepped up in the clutch and buried the game-winning penalty kick, sealing the comeback victory for the Lady Gators.

Lexi Burse turned in a standout performance throughout the match and earned Woman of the Match honors for her leadership and impact during the rally.

Gators Earn First Win of the Season

The varsity boys followed with a strong 3–0 victory over Long County, earning their first win of the season.

Ware County controlled the pace from the opening whistle and executed well on both ends of the field. Jeffery Gonzales put the Gators on the board, while Camp Hopkins and Charles Huff each added a goal to extend the lead.

The Gators’ effort and teamwork were evident all night as they worked hard to secure the shutout. Lennox Holder was named Player of the Game for his outstanding performance.
