The Ware County Gator Basketball Teams made the trip to Worth County on Thursday, January 29, 2026, and returned to Waycross with a convincing road sweep, as both the Lady Gators and Varsity Boys picked up impressive victories.
The Lady Gators set the tone early and never looked back, earning a solid 59 - 46 win. Ware County controlled the tempo throughout the night, using balanced scoring and steady defense to pull away down the stretch and secure the road victory.
In the nightcap, the Varsity Boys continued their strong season with a dominant 60 - 39 win over Worth County. With the victory, the Gators improved their record to an outstanding 20 - 3 on the year. Kevin Ramsey led the way with a monster performance, finishing with 14 points and an eye-popping 21 rebounds. Isaiah White also contributed in double figures with 10 points as Ware County’s defense held Worth County in check from start to finish.

The Gators will return home on Friday, 1/30/2026, as the Lady Gators host the Hilliard Flames, followed by a Region 1 - AAAA showdown with the Varsity Boys hosting Benedictine* in the Gator Den. Tip-off times will follow the standard doubleheader format.
