The Ware County Gator Basketball teams traveled to Long County on Saturday, January 10, 2026, to take on the Tide, turning in a competitive night of action highlighted by a dominant Varsity Boys victory.
The JV Girls opened the evening with a thrilling road win, edging Long County 40 - 38 in a tightly contested matchup.
The JV Boys followed with a strong effort but fell 33 - 39.
In Varsity Girls action, the Lady Gators battled throughout before narrowly dropping a 47 - 49 decision.
The night concluded with an emphatic performance from the Varsity Boys, as the Gators controlled the tempo and rolled to a 62 - 34 victory.
