The Ware County Gators Varsity Boys Basketball team continued its strong showing in Brunswick on day two of the Holiday Invitational, earning a convincing 68–46 victory over McIntosh County Academy.
Ware County set the tone early with balanced scoring and relentless defensive pressure, controlling the pace of the game from start to finish. With the win, the Gators improve to 9–1 overall on the season, continuing their impressive early campaign.
Offensively, the Gators were led by Kevin Ramsey, who poured in 16 points, while Isaiah White followed closely with 14 points. Travis Story added 12 points, and Masiyer “Moo Moo” McKoy chipped in 10 points to round out a well-distributed scoring effort.
McKoy, a Class of 2028 shooting guard, was recognized as the Player of the Game for his performance against McIntosh County Academy. After scoring 13 points in the win, McKoy followed it up with another strong outing, contributing 10 points while providing relentless defense on both ends of the floor.
The Gators’ depth, energy, and defensive intensity proved to be the difference as they pulled away in the second half to secure the double-digit victory.
