The Ware County Gators Varsity Boys Basketball team continued its strong early-season play on Saturday, December 27, 2025, traveling to Brunswick to compete in the Holiday Invitational at Brunswick High School. The Gators delivered a dominant performance, defeating Hilton Head Island High School by a final score of 65–38.

Ware County set the tone early and never looked back, using balanced scoring, defensive intensity, and control of the glass to pull away. With the win, the Gators improve to 8–1 overall on the season.

Offensively, Ware County was led by Davion Jones, who poured in a team-high 19 points. Masiyer “Moo Moo” McKoy added 13 points, while Kevin Ramsey chipped in 12 points, giving the Gators three players in double figures.

The Player of the Game honors went to 2027 SG Isaiah White, who made an immediate impact to open the contest. White scored 8 points, including two three-pointers early to stretch the defense, and was dominant on the boards with 10 rebounds, helping Ware County control the tempo from start to finish.

The convincing victory was another statement performance for the Gators as they continue to build momentum heading into the heart of the season.

Ware County will remain in Brunswick and return to Brunswick High School on Monday, December 29, 2025, for an 11:00 AM tipoff as the Holiday Invitational continues.
