The Ware County Gator Basketball Teams welcomed the Richmond Hill Wildcats to the Gator Den on Monday night, December 22, 2025, for a full slate of games that featured strong performances across all levels and an exciting finish to the evening.
The night began with the JV Girls, who set the tone early and never looked back. Playing aggressive defense and controlling the tempo, the Lady Gators earned a convincing 34 - 16 victory over the Wildcats.
The JV Boys followed with a hard-fought contest that saw Ware County pull away late. With balanced scoring and strong effort on both ends of the floor, the Gators secured a 39 - 32 win to continue the positive momentum.
In the Varsity Girls matchup, the Lady Gators battled throughout in a tight, competitive game. Ware County had chances down the stretch, but ultimately fell just short, dropping a narrow decision to Richmond Hill 37 - 35.
The night concluded with the Varsity Boys, who delivered a complete performance in front of the home crowd. The Gators used strong defense and efficient offense to pull away in the second half, earning a 61 - 47 victory over the Wildcats and closing the evening on a high note.
