The Ware County Gators basketball program opened the week with a full slate of competition across multiple levels, highlighted by road action Monday in Camden County and a home triple-header Tuesday inside the Gator Den.

Monday, December 8 - JV Girls at Camden County

The JV Lady Gators traveled to Kingsland for a matchup with the Camden County Lady Wildcats. Despite a determined effort, Ware County fell by a score of 25 - 53. The young Lady Gators continued to show growth and resilience and will use the experience to fuel continued improvement as the season progresses.


Tuesday, December 9 – Gators Host Appling County

The Gator Den was full of energy Tuesday night as the Gators welcomed the Appling County Pirates for a three - game slate.

  • JV Boys - Ware County came out strong, executing on both ends of the floor and securing a decisive 63 - 33 victory.

  • Varsity Girls - In a hard-fought contest, the Lady Gators battled wire-to-wire but ultimately fell just short, 54 - 59.

  • Varsity Boys - The Gators closed out the evening with an explosive offensive performance, rolling to a 79 - 35 win over the Pirates.

Tickets:

Tickets for Saturday’s games will be $10.00 and may be purchased online at gofan.co or at the gate.

Streaming:

All home varsity games are available live on NFHS Network at nfhs.com (subscription required).

Clear Bag Policy:

A clear bag policy is in effect for all home athletic events. Spectators may bring clear plastic bags, small clutch purses, or medically necessary items. All bags are subject to search.

Parental Supervision Policy:

All students in attendance must be supervised by a parent or guardian for the duration of the event. Unaccompanied students will not be permitted to enter or remain inside the venue.
