The Gator Den delivered a full night of basketball action on Friday as the Ware County Gators hosted the Glynn Academy Red Terrors. The evening featured strong performances across all levels, highlighted by dominant wins from both JV teams and a convincing Varsity Boys victory to close out the night.

JV Girls - Ware County 41, Glynn Academy 18

The JV Lady Gators opened the night with an impressive 41–18 victory. Their defensive pressure set the tone early, generating turnovers and leading to transition baskets. The win marks another step forward in their early-season development.

JV Boys - Ware County 59, Glynn Academy 32

The JV Boys added a strong performance of their own, defeating Glynn Academy 59–32. Ware County controlled the pace from the opening tip, using their depth and defensive intensity to build and maintain a commanding lead throughout the game.

Varsity Girls - Ware County 41, Glynn Academy 55

The Varsity Lady Gators put up a determined effort but ultimately fell 41–55. Despite multiple rallies and stretches of strong team defense, Glynn Academy found timely offensive runs that created separation late in the contest.

Varsity Boys - Ware County 56, Glynn Academy 39

The Varsity Boys closed the evening on a high note with a 56–39 win. Ware County’s defensive execution was the highlight, as the Gators held the Red Terrors under 40 points. Efficient ball movement and clutch scoring helped Ware County pull away in the second half to secure the home victory.
