The Lady Gators Gameday Competition Cheer team hit the road on Saturday, November 22, 2025, traveling to South Effingham High School to take on a deep and talented field of squads from across the state. In a high-energy multi-team event featuring programs such as Pinewood Christian Academy, Evans, Glynn Academy, Southeast Bulloch, Thomson, Emmanuel Institute, Bryan County, Hawkinsville, Treutlen County, Swainsboro, Camden, Grovetown, and the host South Effingham Mustangs, Ware County rose to the challenge and delivered a strong 3rd-place finish.

The Lady Gators brought their signature intensity, precision, and crowd-connection - hallmarks of a program that continues to trend upward. Their Crowd Leading performance was one of their strongest components of the day, earning 42.5 out of 50 points, powered by sharp motions, timing, and excellent engagement with the fans. In the Band Chant/Fight Song section, the team continued that momentum, scoring 44 out of 50 points with a routine that showcased synchronization, vocal strength, and clean transitions.

With a large field and tight scoring across divisions, every section mattered - and Ware County proved once again that they belong among the most competitive Gameday programs in Georgia.

The Lady Gators will now take Saturday’s performance and use it as fuel as they continue progressing through the Gameday season. With clear strengths, areas to build on, and a confident 3rd-place finish against quality competition, the team leaves South Effingham with momentum and pride.

Up next: December 3, 2025 @ Columbus for the State Championships.  The Lady Gators are set to perform at 10:16 AM.
