FAIRBURN, GA - The Ware County Gators saw their 2025 football season come to an end on Friday, November 21, as they traveled to Fairburn to take on the Seminoles of Creekside High School in the second round of the GHSA AAAA State Playoffs. Creekside, one of the top teams in the classification, controlled the matchup and defeated the Gators 49 - 0.
Ware County closes the 2025 campaign with a 9 - 3 overall record and a 3 - 2 Region 1-AAAA mark, a strong and competitive season highlighted by key region victories, dynamic offensive efforts, and a defense that rose to the occasion time and again. The Gators earned their postseason berth through consistency and toughness, advancing to the second round after a gritty first-round win.
Though the outcome in Fairburn was not what the Green and White hoped for, the Gators continued to play with pride, fight, and heart throughout the night—traits that defined the 2025 roster from August through November.
