The Ware County High School Cross Country program hosted a large multi-team meet on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at the Gator home course. The event brought together several strong programs from across South Georgia and also served as Senior Night 2025, honoring longtime Gator runner Wesley Frye for his dedication and leadership within the program.
It was a competitive day of racing as both boys and girls teams battled through challenging conditions and a fast course layout.

The meet provided a great opportunity for the Gators to test their depth and endurance against quality regional competition before heading into postseason action.
Next up for the Ware County Cross Country Team will be the GHSA AAAA Sectionals at Jones County on Saturday, November 1, 2025, with the first race beginning at 9:00 AM.
The Gator Cross Country program extends its congratulations to Senior Wesley Frye for his years of commitment and wishes him the best as he finishes his final season in green and gold.
