The Ware County Lady Gators Volleyball teams hit the road this week, traveling to Brunswick to take on the Brunswick Pirates and the Pierce County Bears in non-region competition.
It was a tough evening for the Gators as the Varsity squad fell in straight sets to both Pierce County and Brunswick, while JV Green dropped a close match to Pierce in the best two-out-of-three format. The JV Gold team also battled hard but came up short against Brunswick’s JV, falling in straight sets.
Despite the setbacks, the Lady Gators continue to grow stronger with each outing as they prepare for postseason play.
Next up for the Gators, Ware County will return home to the Gator Den on Thursday to host the Tattnall County Lady Warriors. The first serve is set for 4:30 PM. Fans are encouraged to come out and support the Lady Gators as they look to defend their home court!
