The Ware County 9th Grade Gator Football team traveled to Valdosta on Thursday, October 1, 2025, and came home with a big 26-14 victory over the Lowndes County Vikings.
The Gators’ offense was powered on the ground, with Jimmy Taylor and Chase Cone each scoring two rushing touchdowns. Quarterback Kieran Brown also had a strong night, connecting with RJ Munford for a two-point conversion to extend the lead.
On the defensive side, the Gators put together a complete performance, forcing three turnovers to swing momentum in their favor. Pokey Barkley and Jaylon Perry each recovered a fumble, while Xavier Glass snagged an interception. Up front, Marquez Jenkins and Gary Dulin consistently disrupted the Vikings’ backfield, recording multiple tackles for loss.
With the win, the Ware County 9th Grade Gators continue to build momentum as the season progresses.
