The Ware County Lady Gators Volleyball program was back in action on Tuesday, September 23rd, as they traveled to Hinesville to take on Bradwell Institute in non-region play.
The JV Green Freshman squad continued to show strong growth and teamwork, earning a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Bradwell’s JV team. On the Varsity side, the Lady Gators battled to the wire but came up just short in a competitive 2-1 loss.
While the road trip didn’t end with a Varsity win, the matches provided valuable experience as the Lady Gators gear up for a busy stretch ahead.
Next up, the program will host its annual Volley in the Swamp tournament this Saturday in the Gator Den. On Monday, both JV teams will be on the road once again as they travel to Camden County.
The Lady Gators will then return home for one of the most special nights of the year - Senior Night. On Tuesday, September 30th, Ware County will celebrate its senior leaders as they host Liberty County in the Gator Den. Fans are encouraged to come out and show their support for this year’s senior class and the entire Lady Gators Volleyball program.
Reminders for Gator Fans:
Tickets for all home volleyball matches are $7.00 and can be purchased at the gate.
Clear bag policy is in effect for all Ware County athletic events.
Concessions will be available.
Let’s pack the Gator Den and give our Lady Gators the home-court advantage!
