In a tightly contested non-conference matchup, the Ware County Gators traveled to Bartram Trail High School and came away victorious with a hard-fought 21 - 14 win over the Bears.
The first half saw both teams locked at 7 - 7, but Ware County seized control in the second half with a balanced offensive effort. Isaiah White led the passing attack, finishing 8 of 12 for 150.7 yards with a QB rating of 109.7, while Jamir Boyd rushed for 130 yards on 16 carries, including a 43-yard touchdown; White added two rushing scores of his own for a three-touchdown performance. Meanwhile, Bartram Trail replied through Arthur Lewis (139 rushing yards, TD, long of 50 yards) and Coleson Baum, who added his first career rushing TD (31 yards). Ware County improves to 4-0, while Bartram Trail falls to 0-3.
