Gator Athletic Roundup – Thursday, August 21, 2025

It’s a packed day of action across Gator Nation as multiple Ware County teams take the field and court to represent the Green and Gold. From softball to volleyball and football, fans will have plenty of opportunities to cheer on the Gators.

Softball (JV vs. Charlton – Doubleheader, Home – 4:00 PM)
The Junior Varsity Lady Gators take the diamond at home this afternoon for a doubleheader against Charlton County beginning at 4:00 PM. The matchup gives the young squad an early-season chance to shine in front of the home crowd.

Volleyball (All Teams vs. Bradwell / GCA – Home – 4:30 PM)
Inside the GATOR DEN, Ware County Volleyball hosts Bradwell Institute and Georgia Christian Academy starting at 4:30 PM. With all levels competing, the Lady Gators are set for an exciting evening of competition against strong opponents.

Football (9th Grade vs. Coffee – Home – 5:00 PM)
Over at Memorial Stadium, the 9th Grade Gator Football Team kicks off against Coffee County at 5:00 PM. Always a competitive matchup, the young Gators look to defend their home turf in front of Gator Nation.

Football (JV at Coffee – Away – 5:00 PM)
On the road, the JV Football Gators travel to Coffee County for their own 5:00 PM kickoff. The away test provides a great opportunity for the squad to continue building experience against a tough rival.
