The Ware County Lady Gators volleyball program hosted an action-packed evening in the Gator Den on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, taking on Tift County and Southeast Bulloch across all levels of play.
In varsity action, the Lady Gators opened strong against Tift County, taking the first set 25-20 behind sharp serving and aggressive net play. However, Tift rallied in the second set to win 25-16 and carried that momentum into the deciding set, edging out Ware 15-11 for the match win.
The Lady Gators bounced back in their second match of the night, sweeping Southeast Bulloch 2-0 with scores of 25-17 and 25-14. The victory was highlighted by crisp passing, solid defensive coverage, and strong finishes at the net.
JV Gold also saw double duty on the night, falling to Tift County’s JV in three hard-fought sets (1-2) before regrouping to defeat Southeast Bulloch’s JV 2-1 in a determined comeback performance.
The JV Green freshman squad closed the evening with a nail-biting 2-1 victory over Tift County’s freshmen.
The Lady Gators return to action Thursday back in the Gator Den, looking to build on the positives from a competitive night of volleyball.
