paraprofessional of the year 2020-2021
Congratulations to our Paraprofessional of the Year, Mrs. Sharee Combs, Special Education Para-professional
Mrs. Combs attended South Georgia State College where she obtained her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. She started her career in 2019 at Center Elementary School where she worked alongside Mrs. Iva Floyd in her Self-Contained Special Education Classroom and quickly became a vital part of what we nickname these ladies, "Team Floyd" as it takes a team to accomplish their daily goal of serving their students so that every child learns every day. She is extremely passionate about what she does and believes all children need that certain teacher who assures them of their safety. She treats every child the way she would want her own children to be treated... with love and respect.--
Mrs. Combs has been happily married to Chris Combs for 10 years, and together they have two beautiful children, Gene (10) and Claire (9) who also attend Center Elementary. We are thankful that Mrs. Combs found her second family at Center. We also appreciate hard work and dedication to our students and staff. She is always smiling, willing, and quick to attend to whatever need arises. Thank you, Mrs. Combs for your amazing work ethic and for being a team player all the time to get the job done!
