Platinum Seniors

50 Ware County High School seniors were recognized as Platinum Seniors on August 19, 2021.  WCHS Principal, Dr. Buford Kellogg, stated, "You've really worked hard during your first three years of high school and you have earned the right to be in the spotlight".     To qualify for this honor students must meet the following criteria:

  • 95 grade average or better
  • No behavior referrals
  • Attended 340 of 360 days with 5 or less tardies (based on 9th and 10th grade years)

All recipients received a congratulatory letter, certificate, and an identification card.   As a Platinum Senior, these students enjoy the following benefits:

  • Free admission to ALL home events such as athletics, concerts, and plays
  • Free Homecoming Dance Ticket
  • Free Parking Pass
  • One early dismissal per month
  • One off-campus lunch
  • A Platinum Senior t-shirt
