Congratulations to Rebecca Thrift, the classified Golden Achievement Award winner for the month of October. Dr. Shawn Benefield, her principal, shared the following while presenting the award:
“This person saw a need and took on the role of secretary before actually having the position. She selflessly offered her assistance during her downtime. Her consistent willingness to help others and gift for multitasking have been invaluable. Her ability to see a need and fulfill that need has been such a blessing. She is a true genius when it comes to utilizing staff members to cover classes and maximizing coverage by substitutes. She has decorated the office area so it is inviting to parents and students. This person does not mind stepping in the role of a stylist as she aides students with finding clothing to meet the school dress code. She is always pleasant to individuals when they call or come to the school. It is with great pride that Mrs. Rebecca Thrift is presented with the Classified Golden Achievement Award for Ware County Middle School.”
