Class of 2020

The Ware County High School Class of 2020 will take the field at Memorial Stadium for their last hoorah as they graduate and receive their diplomas this Saturday, July 18th, at 9:00am. Here is some information to assist families with what to expect.

**Graduation Guidelines and Overview**

Practice: Friday, July17th at 9:00 AM

-Graduates must attend practice if they are going to participate in the ceremony.

-Arrive no later than 8:45 AM Friday and report directly to your seat on the field.


Tickets: Each graduate will receive 6 tickets for guest admission; they will be given out at practice on Friday.

-Each person (no matter their age or size) entering the stadium on Saturday must have a ticket. Lost or stolen ticket(s) will not be replaced.

-Handicapped seating is available. The names of individuals needing this accommodation must be emailed to Lee Robertson at lrobertson@ware.k12.ga.us no later than Thursday, July 16th at 12:00pm.


Ceremony: The ceremony will begin at 9:00 AM on Saturday, July 18th.  You can watch the live stream at https://youtu.be/HpyJOko-0w0

-We are recommending all guests be at the stadium by 8:30 AM. All gates will be closed at 9:00 AM.

-Once they have entered the stadium, all guests must go directly to their assigned seats.

-Guests may bring bottled water to the stadium. It will not be on sale, as it has in past years.


Graduates: Graduates will park in the Williams Heights Elementary parking lot or visitors side parking on Saturday. Graduates will be allowed to enter through the Williams Heights Elementary gate entrance only.

-Graduates need to be seated in their seats on the field by 8:30 AM Saturday morning.


Dismissal: The graduation ceremony will end with the class song. Graduates will exit through the Williams Heights Elementary gate.

-Guests will be dismissed after the graduates have vacated the field. The guests will be dismissed by section to remain in compliance with social distancing guidelines.


Suggested Guidelines: Per CDC guidelines, face masks are recommended but not required.
