Mr. Rusty Ganas & Sawyer Ganas

Recently, Daffodil Pre-K had a fun-filled day celebrating Veteran’s Day.  The day started by the children sharing breakfast with family members that are currently serving or have previously served in the military.  Then, the Ware County High School JROTC came and visited the Daffodil students.  The JROTC cadets showed off their competition skills and said the Pledge of Allegiance with the students.  Last, Daffodil students participated in a Veteran’s Day parade.  Students marched around the school to patriotic music while waving their American flags and saying hello to their friends in other classes.  According to Daffodil teacher, Holly Thomas, “The students had a great time learning about Veteran’s Day.  Having individuals that served our country come and eat with the children was a great experience for the students.”  The principal at Daffodil Pre-K is Dr. Linda Houseal.
