Daffodil Pre-K

DAFFODIL students recently celebrated Georgia’s Pre-K week. Students celebrated by listening to different community members read stories. On Monday October 7^th students were able to listen to the State Representative James Burchett read the Pre-K week’s theme book Llama Llama Red Pajama. Students and staff were allowed to wear pajamas and enjoyed popcorn and a movie afterwards. Mrs. Natasha Spradley was thrilled that her students got to participate in these activities. “In attending these group activities, the students had the opportunity to meet several community stakeholders,” she said.  “This helped to expand their knowledge of those that work in the City of Waycross and that work for the state of Georgia.” Superintendent Bert Smith enjoyed celebrating Georgia Pre-K week with our eager learners.
