Summer Reading and Math Opportunities

We want our students to stay active with reading and math practice over the summer. There are two ways they can stay engaged academically. See the information below and the attachments.

1. IXL Summer Online Practice (see attached flyers)  ****Your child will need his/her IXL username and password which they should know by now. If they don't, you can ask your child's teacher directly through Class Dojo or email.****

2. Georgia Get Reading Initiative for the Summer (see below)

Get Georgia Reading 2019 starts on May 6, the login info will not be active until May 6, 2019.

The partnership between Renaissance® and Get Georgia Reading provides every child, educator, librarian, and parent or guardian in Georgia unlimited, free access to thousands of enhanced digital books–plus daily news articles–through August 31, 2019.

To get started, you’ll want to share your district login information with students, parents/guardians, and teachers before the school year ends. myOn books and News is available to your Middle and High School students also.

Go to www.myon.com/login/index.html and enter your login information:

School Name: Get Georgia Reading  (type the first few letters and select from the drop-down menu) Username: WARECOUNTY Password: read  Click the Sign In button. Select a book and start reading!
