Mr. Grimes has taught science for 14 1/2 years.  He spent five years at Bradwell Institute in Hinesville Georgia and three years at Southeast Bulloch High School near Statesboro Georgia.  He has been at Waycross middle school for 5 1/2 years.  He holds a BS degree in biology from Georgia Southern College and M. ED in science education from Georgia Southern University.

Mr. Grimes has been married for 18 years and has two daughters. He enjoys reading, listening to music, watching football, and he tries to exercise like he should. He also has three dogs and three cats. He and his family have lived in Waycross for six years.
