Mr. Chad Starling teaches 6^th grade Social Studies at Waycross Middle School. He was born and raised in Waycross, Georgia, and graduated from Waycross High in 1990.

Mr. Starling has a B.S. in Middle Grades Education from Armstrong Atlantic State University as well as a B.S. in Business Administration from Valdosta State University.  This is Mr. Starling’s ninth year in education. He worked for six years at Ware County Middle School, before coming to Waycross Middle School. Mr. Starling serves as advisor for the Builders Club and is on the football and baseball coaching staff at Waycross Middle School.

Mr. Starling has been married for 16 years, to Jenny Starling. They have two children: Seth, who is in 10th grade at Ware County High, and Sydney who is in the 6^th grade at Waycross Middle.

Mr. Starling says, “Teaching is not a job it is a calling.  I have an opportunity to impact students lives everyday, and I take pride in helping to prepare them for the future.”  Mr. Starling also enjoys playing sports, being outdoors, and spending time with his family.
