Mrs. Ganas is the media specialist here at Waycross Middle School.  She moved to Waycross at the age of three and except for attending college and for a few years right after she married, she has lived in Ware County for the majority of her life.  She was educated in the Waycross City School System and graduated from Waycross High School, which was housed at that time in the very building that currently serves as our own Waycross Middle School. 

Mrs. Ganas has a B.S. in Vocational Home Economics Education from Georgia College, a M.Ed. in Vocational Home Economics Education from the University of Georgia, and an Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Media from NOVA Southeastern University.

Mrs. Ganas is married, has two grown children and one granddaughter.  In her spare time she enjoys reading, but especially enjoys cooking for friends and family who love to eat!
