Mr. Levi Herrin teaches
Advanced Content Social Studies. He was born in Waycross, Georgia, and
has lived here all of his life. Not only was Mr. Herrin raised in Ware
County, but he also attended ware County Public Schools. He graduated
from Ware County Magnet School in Manor.
Mr. Herrin has a B.S. in
Elementary Education from Armstrong Atlantic State University. He has a
Master’s in Post Secondary Education from Troy University in Troy
Alabama. This is Mr. Herrin’s eighth year in education. He worked for
two years at Center Elementary, before coming to Waycross Middle School.
Mr. Herrin is delighted to be working at Waycross Middle School. He
serves as the Honor’s Day Coordinator, Social Studies Department Chair,
and is currently serving on the School Council.
Mr. Herrin has been married
for 5 years, to Melissa Herrin. They have two sons: Christopher, who is
in fifth grade at Williams Heights Elementary, and Rhett who is almost 2
years old..
Mr. Herrin says, “I truly enjoy teaching school. Teaching Social Studies is exciting and every day is a new adventure. I love helping the students realize that reading is FUN!” Mr. Herrin also enjoys reading, singing, and playing with his children.
