Levi Herrin

Mr. Levi Herrin teaches 6th grade reading. He was born in Waycross, Georgia, and has lived here all of his life. Not only was Mr. Herrin raised in Ware County, but he also attended ware County Public Schools. He graduated from Ware County Magnet School in Manor.

 

Mr. Herrin has a B.S. in Elementary Education from Armstrong Atlantic State University. He has a Master’s in Post Secondary Education from Troy University in Troy, Alabama. This is Mr. Herrin’s tenth year in education. He worked for two years at Center Elementary, before coming to Waycross Middle School. Mr. Herrin is delighted to be working at Waycross Middle School. He serves as the Honor’s Day Coordinator, and is currently serving on the School Council.

 

Mr. Herrin has been married for 7 years, to Melissa Herrin. They have three sons: Christopher, who is in seventh grade at Waycross Middle School, Rhett who is almost 4 years old, and Layton who is one.

 

Mr. Herrin says, “I want to change the world one student at a time!” Mr. Herrin also enjoys reading, singing, and playing with his children.
