attendance rate at WCHS. Way to go, TIME!!

BCS Adopts Mission Statement & Philosophy
At
their meeting on February 18, 2010, the Business & Computer Science
Advisory Committee adopted a new mission statement and philosophy.
Our Mission:
To graduate program
completers with the foundational skills necessary to be successful in an
entry level position.
Our Philosophy:
We believe students can
be successful in the workplace and/or postsecondary schools if we provide
the following:
Rigorous curriculum
Relevance to the workplace
Relationships with community

2nd Annual Job Fair a Success
Ware County
High School held its second Youth Job Fair
on April 1, 2010. There were at least 16 employers from the Waycross area
accepting applications for entry-level positions.
A very
special “Thank You” to Ms. Rimes, our Work-Based Learning Coordinator, and
Mr. Patrick Simmons with the GA Department of Labor for putting this
together for our students.
