7th Grade Winner Manashi Patel and Mr. Ricky Bridges.

8th Grade Winner Logan Lanier, Mrs. Theresa White.

Each year, Ware County Middle School celebrates the writing accomplishments of students by participating in the Young Georgia Authors Writing Competition. This annual contest is held so students can receive recognition for their work in original composition. School grade level winners are selected and then compete at the district and state levels. This year, three WCMS students were selected as outstanding authors: Victoria Highsmith (6th), Manashi Patel (7th), and Logan Lanier (8th) were selected as grade level winners and represented Ware Middle School at the district level. Victoria Highsmith’s story was chosen as the Ware County School System winner for 6th Grade and will compete at the state level. Dr. Darlene Tanner is the principal of Ware County Middle School. Congratulations to all these outstanding students!
