Two changes will take place in regard to school lunches for the 2011-2012 year, reports Stephanie Taylor, Director of Nutrition for the Ware County Schools.  According to Taylor, all levels of school children will eat breakfast free under Special Provision II of the Special Assistance Certification.

Reduced lunches will increase by ten-cents and regular lunches (including staff) will increase by twenty-five cents. New rates will then be:  

All Student Breakfasts, FREE
All Reduced Lunches, $ .40
Elementary Student Lunch, $1.25
Middle School Student Lunch, $1.50
High School Student Lunch, $1.50
Adult/Staff Breakfast, $1.50
Adult/Staff Lunch, $2.50
Guest Meal, $2.50
