An Update from Supt. Jim L. LeBrun
The EMA held a briefing this morning. Hurricane Michael is expected to have the greatest impact in Ware County between 3:00-9:00pm Wednesday, October 10th. The greatest concerns remain power outages, downed power lines, debris, fallen trees, high risk of tornadoes, 4-6 inches of rain, and 40-50 mph winds. At this time, no shelters have been established at our schools. A safe shelter will be activated in Ware County, location to be announced. Please stay tuned for a future briefing tomorrow morning.
