Memorial Drive Elementary Wins Big at Regional Science Fair

Memorial Drive Elementary students brought home some wonderful news after the regional Science Fair! Four projects were awarded first place blue ribbons, and one project was awarded a second place ribbon. Memorial Drive also took home an honorable mention trophy, a second place, and a third place overall trophy.

 

Evan J. and Reid K. received 3rd Place overall trophy and 1st Place Blue Ribbon for their project Phototactic Bristlebot.  Jontasia W. and Gracelyn W. received a 2nd Place overall trophy and 1st Place Blue Ribbon for their project Handy, Helping Hovercraft.  Eli T., Rudra P., and Kasen G. received an honorable mention trophy and 1st Place Blue Ribbon for their project Bursting with a Better Bubble Solution.  Ally M., Xander G., and Rylee M. received a 1st Place Blue Ribbon for their project 3...2...1...Blastoff! Rocket Science.  Molly S. and Trinity S. received a 2nd Place Ribbon for their project Solar Powered Speed Racer.  Principal Wendy Good expressed how proud she was of these students, adding “It’s great to be a Memorial Drive Wildcat”!
