Students Ruby L. and Sophia C. placed 2nd in Animation for grade bands 9-10 and Ethan T. placed 3rd in Animation for grade bands 11-12. The annual student technology competition is the highest level of its kind in Georgia, with over 900 projects representing the work of more than 1,200 students. Students must first win at recognized regional competitions in order to compete at state. Principal Bert Smith states, “I’m extremely proud of these students and the level of competition at which they are succeeding.”
