Hurricane Irma remains a major threat to the southeastern United States. The most recent track models show the storm impacting our region as a Category 3 hurricane on Monday, September 11th. The intensity, direction, and impact of the storm could still change, so it is important to continue monitoring the weather in the coming days.
Select Ware County School System facilities have been identified as shelters for the American Red Cross and various governmental and public service agencies from the surrounding region.
