Waresboro Elementary Kindergartners are Learning to Read

No matter how much the world changes, one thing never will... and that is the importance of knowing how to read.  Students and teachers are working hard to get the year off to a great start at Waresboro Elementary School by jumping straight into guided and independent reading groups.  Reading teachers at Waresboro have a common goal: to establish classroom structures that support effective reading instruction and student learning. Farrah T. (left) and Elisha S. use whisper phones during reading groups in Mrs. Torrie Parker's kindergarten class so they can listen to themselves read.  Dr. Barnes, principal at Waresboro Elementary School, reminds all students that reading is the key to the future.  Keep reading, Waresboro Eagles!
