Wacona Elementary Students Plant Flowers at Lowes

Wacona Elementary students had a wonderful time at Lowes on a recent community-based instruction trip to the Waycross store. When the students arrived, Susan Lee had an area set up with all the materials necessary for the students to plant their own flowers. She gave students step-by-step instructions on how to plant their flowers. Once the students were finished, she explained to them how to take care of their flowers. All the students were excited to take their flowers home and watch them grow.

Mrs. Shanna Johnson and Mrs. Lynsie Oakley would like to thank Lowes for providing this opportunity to their students. Mr. Chancey is the principal of Wacona Elementary School.
