Williams Heights Elementary Students Compete in Local Tech Fair

Williams Heights Elementary students recently participated in the 2nd Annual Ware County Technology Fair, competing in categories such as animation, robotics, digital photo production, graphic design, video production, game design, and internet applications. The students worked on their projects both in and out of school and did a fabulous job.

Participants include Cole B., Liz O., Izzy L., Stella K., Amiyah E., Jayce F., Landon S., Logan C., Clara Grace R., Cole C., Luke C., and Eli T.

Several students won awards at the fair, including Cole C. - 1st place Video Production (3/4), Logan C. and Cole B. - 2nd place Animation (5/6), and Stella K. and Izzy L. - 1st place Digital Photo Production (5/6)


Heather Thigpen, Tech Fair Advisor, stated, “Our students worked so hard. It is easy to see their passion for technology. I cannot wait for our winners to compete at the Okefenokee Tech Fair in January!”
