On Friday, March 17, students in Ware County participated in the Special Olympics. Williams Heights’ students and faculty sent Mrs. Aldridge’s students off in style, with a school-wide parade! Students, clad in their St. Patty’s day green, cheered Kayla H. and Brayden H. on as they headed out to compete at the Special Olympics, held at Ware County High School. They were escorted by their teachers, Mrs. Colleen Aldridge, Mrs. Felices King, Mrs. Christa Wesson, and Mrs. Cynthia Norman. Students made signs to encourage Kayla and Brayden, Olympic music was played, and students used pom-poms to cheer on these excited students. It was a wonderful day at Williams Heights, and we are so proud of Mrs. Aldridge’s class!
