The Ware County School System held a Teacher Recruitment Fair on Saturday, February 25th in the Performing Arts Center of Ware County High School. Job seekers ranging from seasoned professionals to those who will be freshly-minted come graduation in May 2017 visited tables set up and manned by principals, school administrators, and teachers, all in an effort to showcase the unique offerings of each school. District administrators acted as hosts and assisted the visitors, over fifty in number, with registration. Candidates traveled from all parts of Georgia and even from the northern U.S. to see what Ware County Schools had to offer and what they could offer in return. The district plans to continue this practice in support of its Strategic Plan, Goal 3: Recruit, retain, and develop highly skilled personnel to serve the needs of each child in the Ware County School System.
