Waresboro Elementary participated in the Okefenokee Regional Technology Fair. Five teams placed overall, with three of those teams advancing to the Georgia State Technology Fair to be held in Macon, GA on March 11th. Waresboro Elementary media specialist Mrs. Candace Smith and Principal Dr. Jenny Barnes are extremely proud of these students and excited to have them compete at the state level.

Among those placing at the regional fair were Hannah and Cady, who won second place in Multimedia Applications (Grades 3/4), and Kylee and Raleigh who won third place in Audio Production (Grades 5/6).

Taking home first place and advancing to state are Gavin and Grayson Video Production (Grades 5/6), Abigail and Clary Internet Applications (Grades 3/4), and Caden and Tucker in Robotics (Grades 3/4).
