Ruskin Elementary Jaguars Roar at Regional Tech Fair

Ruskin Elementary School's technology teams have their eyes set on the state competition after earning top awards at the recent Okefenokee Regional Technology Competition.

All five of Ruskin’s teams who competed at the regional level earned medals in their categories. Four teams brought home 3rd place medals, and one team earned a 1st place medal. Ayesha P. and Chloe R. will advance to the Georgia Educational Technology Fair in March to compete in the category of Graphic Design with their 1st place project.

Ruskin's Principal Donna  Solomon, Media Specialist Tonya Dixon, and WINGS teacher Tammy Gardner were there to support the teams and to cheer for them as they walked across the stage to accept their awards. “We are very proud of the hard work and creative abilities of all of these students and are excited for them to earn these awards for their efforts,” said Mrs. Gardner.
