The Ware County Board of Education recognized Mrs. Lydia Brown, parapro at Williams Heights, as the Golden Achievement Award winner for the month of December. In her nomination of Mrs. Brown, Principal Staci Smallwood noted, "Mrs. Brown never complains when asked to cover classes or take on an additional lunch duty. She always works during pre-planning, even though it is not required of her. Without Mrs. Brown, there would be no Kindergarten Beach Day. She does everything possible to make Williams Heights school a family. Her friendly nature, easy laugh, and diligent work ethic show that she has what it takes to be Ware County's Golden Achievement Award recipient."
Mrs. Brown is congratulated by Board Chairman Barry Deas, Principal Staci Smallwood, and Superintendent Jim LeBrun.
