Out of the 75 classes that competed from the surrounding areas, Wacona Team 1 came in first place and Wacona Team 2 came in 2nd. Each student who participates in the contest is given one thousand math questions to answer; an overall class score is computed from the students’ average number of correct answers. Out of the 926 students who played from the Okefenokee area, Connor C. came in first place and Maddox G. came in third place. Wacona’s Math Club is coached by Jennifer Cone and Heather Tyre.
